We are delighted to announce that Graphis, the renowned international publisher of the Graphis Design Annual, has awarded DDW a silver medal for our Let’s Get Good! Low Pulp Orange Juice package design.
Every year Graphis invites professionals across the design communities to be considered for inclusion in their books. Among these submissions, Graphis selects the most compelling work of the year for Platinum, Gold and Silver awards consideration. Winners are featured in hardcover Annuals archived permanently at Graphis’ website.
Our client traveled all the way from Santiago, Chile to San Francisco in order to find a creative agency that could help them bring their new orange juice brand to life. Their assignment: Create a brand that echoes the stated mission of their new company — to bring the best quality, premium Florida Orange Juice to Chile and Argentina.
The DDW design team created the Let’s Get Good! brand name as a call-to-action to health-conscious consumers who look for the freshest, highest quality juice they can find without preservatives, flavor enhancers, or a lot of extra processing. And to break away from the other brands on shelf, DDW created a very disruptive “black” carton design that has a very retro modern feel. Then we crafted custom typography for the Let’s Get Good! signature and created unique illustrations to bring the juice flavors to life in a distinctive, fun way.
The award-winning “More Pulp” version of the branding is slightly modified from the core line, bringing attention to the new flavor with a bright green banner.
The collaboration has been nothing short of a runaway success. According to Mauricio De Pablo, Founder & Chairman, Let’s Get Good!: “We blew the competition away and exceeded our Q1 sales goals.”
Thank you, Mauricio. And thank you to Graphis for the extraordinary honor.
