Millennials are hungry for authentic fast casual food, thinking nothing of spending $14 on a tasty gourmet sub.
So, when the Teplitzky brothers of Atlantic City, NJ, decided to bring a taste of the Boardwalk to the west coast, they looked to DDW to serve up a tasty new design. They needed a wholistic design system for their first sub shop near Monterey’s famed Cannery Row that could then translate to other locations as they expand across the west coast.
Our design team tapped the Teplitzky brothers’ nostalgia for the Jersey shore and created a boardwalk inspired design that included everything they needed: packaging, custom signage, menu boards, murals, uniforms and a website.
Clearly the recipe works. Yummy sandwiches, a rabid Instagram following and additional stores popping up.
